Spaniels, James ‘Pookie’ Hudson and the
Notes: The Spaniels were a Chicago singing group. The Spaniels toured with the Five Echoes, Flamingos, Moonglows, and Billy Ward and the Dominoes. I have another note that says the Spaniels were from Gary, Ind.
One of my favorite groups is James “Pookie” Hudson and the Spaniels. Also, I have a thing for “bass songs” and the Spaniels with Gerald Gregory provide some great tunes that represent this genre.
